Our Goal

Our goal is to offer affordable health care to the entire family in a way that shows our passion for your health and our concern for your time. Modern medicine makes the patient wait for many things. You pay with your time when you wait weeks for your first visit, wait in the waiting room after the time your appointment was to start, wait to hear back from your Dr. (if you get to talk with your Dr.) for problems related to your care, wait for your refill, etc.

“We’ve changed the way that healthcare is offered so that the focus is on you.

We have changed the total number of patients that we see and the scheduling so that you can be seen the same or next day. We have managed appointment times so that we can see you at your scheduled visit time. Time is also set aside to return your emails or to have the Dr. discuss your lab results with you. We believe that you should receive high-quality health care at a time that is convenient for you from the people who care for your well beingthe ones who will advocate for your health.

Meet Dr. Chris Larson

Chris Larson, D.O., Physician

Dr. Larson came to medicine after having already started a career in finance. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a business degree. After witnessing the deleterious effects of modern medical practice on relatives and loved ones, he decided to return to school and to practice medicine in an alternative fashion.

Dr. Larson’s goal in medicine is, and has always been, to help people live a healthier life and a life with less pain while reducing the risks of modern treatments. He will tell you that he was fortunate to have found an Osteopathic medical school because Osteopathy allows him a way to reach this goal.

After completing medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center, Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine, he attended a family medicine residency at Christus Santa Rosa in San Antonio. Since his graduation from residency in 2010, he has enjoyed living in Austin.

Meet Zerah Almaguer

Zerah Almaguer, Medical Assistant

Zerah was born and raised in Austin, Texas. After starting her career as a receptionist in a medical clinic, she soon realized that she wanted to further her knowledge and career in the medical field by training to be a Medical Assistant. After graduating in 2010 from Virginia College with a diploma in Medical Assisting, she has worked in both Primary Care and Acute Care settings.

Zerah takes immense pride in her work with her primary focus being patient needs. Zerah understands that communication, understanding, and hard work are key to keeping our patients happy and healthy.

In her spare time, Zerah enjoys spending time with her family, going on trips, and having girls’ time with her daughter.
